About Me
Meg Shapleigh, LMT, RMT
I was first introduced to massage therapy as a Special Education Teacher during Teacher Appreciation Week. My principal gave each teacher a twenty minute chair massage, and I was hooked! I enrolled in massage therapy school that weekend! I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2009, graduating from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy. Moving to Sedona in 2011, after falling in love with this beautiful place on a long weekend, I began my mobile massage practice, building my clientele from referrals. I have been blessed with wonderful clients and am now able to take on new clients in my office, located in Amazing Acupuncture in West Sedona. With over ten years experience, my honed skills and intuitive touch help to unwind the tension in your body, all while helping you drop in and let your mind and spirit deeply rest in the reset that you need. I'm an insured member with AMTA and am trained in various massage modalities of therapeutic massage and bodywork, including myofascial release, neuromuscular and trigger point therapy, hot stones, deep tissue, reflexology, Reiki, Polarity Therapy.
